Welcome to our home! We hope you enjoy your stay!
Our Story
We’re a family of three who believe that home is less about where you’re from and more about how a place makes you feel. Between us, we’ve lived all over the world — from the mainland U.S. to several corners of Europe — and along the way, we’ve learned to appreciate the places that invite you to slow down, connect, and feel welcome.
St. Thomas is one of those places for us. From the warmth of the people, to the simple joy of exchanging a friendly “good morning” or “good evening,” it’s an island that the warmth always feels genuine. We purchased this home as our future retirement retreat, a place we’ll always come back to, and we’re grateful to share it with guests in the meantime.
Our hope is that when you stay here, you’ll find a comfortable, easy going space with everything you need to feel at home — whether you’re here to explore, relax, or simply enjoy island life. We love to travel, meeting new people, and creating spaces where others can do the same, and we’re delighted to welcome you to our little piece of St. Thomas.
Our On-Island Manager
Alex, our on-island manager, is available throughout your stay and can always be reached through the AirBNB app. Born and raised on St. Thomas, he offers invaluable local insight and is happy to help answer questions, share recommendations, or point you toward some of the island’s best-kept secrets.
Colibri = Hummingbird
Homemade hummingbird food
Simple and safe when made with just sugar and water.
Recipe:
1 cup white granulated sugar
4 cups water
Instructions:
Bring the water to a boil.
Stir in the sugar until it completely dissolves.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Fill your hummingbird feeder and refrigerate any extra nectar for up to one week.
Important tips:
Use only plain white sugar. Do not use honey, brown sugar, artificial sweeteners, or red dye.
Clean your feeder with hot water every 2–3 days in hot weather (or every 5–7 days in cooler weather) and replace the nectar each time.
Place the feeder in a shaded spot to help keep the nectar fresh longer.
This 1:4 sugar-to-water ratio closely matches the natural sugar concentration found in many flower nectars and is the recommended recipe for hummingbirds.
On the balcony, you should find four hummingbird feeders. If you take the time to make the hummingbird food, you will have many little visitors coming to drink the nectar throughout the day and evening.

The nearest beach is the beautiful Magen’s Bay, which is about 3-5 minutes away by car. It is only about a mile, but since the roads on the island are narrow with many blind curves, and there are no shoulders to walk on, it is not advised to walk that distance. Magen’s is known to be one of the best beaches in the world and has everything you would need for a beautiful and remembered day. Other well deserved mentions are Coki Beach, Lindquist Beach, Sapphire Beach, Secret Harbor Beach, Limetree Beach, and Brewers Bay.

The Old Stone Farm House, at the entrance to the condominium area you are staying in is a very nice, higher end, establishment. There are many other nice locations that are easy to find with Google or Apple Maps: Sib’s on the Mountain; Fish Bar, Prime, Indigo 4, Cuvee, Blue 11, and Virgilios are all very nice options. For a more relaxed or beach feel, Iggie’s at Bolongo Bay and the establishments in Red Hook area are all very highly recommended.

We offer some small beach chairs and beach shades. The chairs are located on the front patio entrance and the shades are in a box by the front door. If these are not there, it is because a previous guest did not return them. PLease return them so future guest can enjoy these items. We offer beach towels, and in the unlocked portion of the locker on the porch (accessed by the double doors in the hallway or back room) is some beach toys that are provided for use, please return these clean to the cabinet when done.
Magen’s Bay, Emerald Beach, Morning Star Beach, Sapphire Beach, Secret Harbor Beach, and Coki Beach all provide beach chairs and umbrellas for rent.
